News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $1.0662 Billion ( $490.2 million in cash ) was not won and therefore the Powerball Jackpot has now built up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Monday 2nd October 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 12-26-27-43-47 and the Powerball of 05 and thus the annuitised $1.0662 Billion jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $1.2 Billion ( $551.7 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 4th October 2023.
There were no first prize winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw however four ticket holders , one from Delaware, one from Michigan , one from New York and one from South Carolina did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Delaware and Michigan took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holders from New York and South Carolina taking home $2 million each in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
The Powerplay multiplier in Monday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
In Monday night’s Powerball draw there were 2,749,731 prize winners with $25,436,523 being paid out in prize money.
