News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $348.2 million ( $197.9 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot is now starting to build up again to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Monday 27th June 2022 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 11-13-18-30-37 and the Powerball of 16 and thus the annuitised $348.2 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $365 million ( $207.5 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 29th June 2022.
There were no first prize winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw whowever two ticket holders , one from New Jersey and one from Texas did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holder from Texas took home $1 million in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from New Jersey taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket. ( Powerplay multiplier capped at 2 at this level of prize payout).
There were 470,451 winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw with $7,524,992 being paid out in prize money.
