News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $131.5 million ( $67.2 million in cash ) was not won and therefore the Powerball Jackpot has now started to build up again following the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Monday 27th February 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 16–28-49-51-55 and the Powerball of 23 and thus the annuitised $131.5 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $143 million ( $73 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 1st March 2023.
It was a quiet night in Powerballville last night as in Monday night’s Powerball Draw there were no first or second prize winners with the first payout coming at the third prize level where six ticket holders ( one with the Powerplay option selected on their Powerball entry ticket) matched four main white balls and the red Poweerball in the Powerball Draw.
The Powerplay multiplier in Monday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows substantially after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the ever growing jackpot !
