News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $660.3 million ( $332.3 million in cash ) was not won and therefore the Powerball Jackpot has now started to build up nicely again following the recent mammoth Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Monday 25th December 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 05-12-20-24-29 and the Powerball of 04 and thus the annuitised $660.3 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $685 million ( $344.7 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 27th December 2023.
There were no first prize winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw however five ticket holders , one from California , one from Colorado , one from Georgia , one from New Hampshire and one from Pennsylvania did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holder from California took home $2,085,363 in prize money.
The second prize ticket holders from New Hampshire and Pennsylvania took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holders from Colorado and Georgia taking home $2 million each in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
The Powerplay multiplier in Monday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows substantially after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the ever growing jackpot !
