News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $363.3 million ( $265.2 million in cash ) was not won and therefore the Powerball jackpot has now started to build up again to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention !.
In the draw last night , Monday 20th December 2021 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 02-13-23-34-66 and the Powerball of 02 and thus the annuitised $363.3 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $378 million ( $275.9 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 22nd December 2021.
There were no first prize winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw however five ticket holders , two from Georgia , one from Maryland , one from New York and one from North Carolina did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Georgia , Maryland and New York took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from North Carolina taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket. ( Powerplay multiplier is always capped at 2 at this level of prize payout).
There were 523,717 winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw with $11,181,323 being paid out in prize money.
