News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $403.9 million ( $206.9 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot is now starting to build up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Monday 10th October 2022 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 03-06-11-17-22 and the Powerball of 11 and thus the annuitised $403.9 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $420 million ( $215.2 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 12th October 2022.
There were no first prize winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw however five ticket holders , two from Florida , one from Illinois , one from Iowa and one from Minnesota did win a second prize by matching the five mian white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Florida, Illinois and Minnesota took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Iowa taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay multiplier option on their Powerball entry ticket.
There were 521,267 winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw with $12,374,562 being paid out in prize money.
