News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $112 million ( $75.4 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has started to build up once again after the recent Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 7th August 2019 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 08-32-47-53-59 and the Powerball of 03 and thus the annuitised $112 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $128 million ( $86.1 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 10th August 2019.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s US Powerball Lottery Draw but two lucky ticket holders , one from Georgia and one from Tennessee did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball draw.
The second prize ticket holder from Tennessee took home $1 million in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Georgia taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.( Powerplay multiplier at this level of prize money is always TWO)
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was THREE.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows substantially after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the ever growing jackpot !
