News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $59 million ( $48.3 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot will start to build up again following the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 6th May 2020 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 07-08-35-50-65 and the Powerball of 20 and thus the annuitised $59 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $68 million ( $55.6 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 9th May 2020.
There were no ticket holders winning the Powerball Jackpot in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however two ticket holders , one from Minnesota and one from New Jersey did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the draw.
The second prize ticket holder from Minnesota took home $1 million in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from New Jersey taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket. ( Powerplay multiplier at this level of prize money is always two )
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was FOUR.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows substantially after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the ever growing jackpot !
