News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $125 million ( $87.5 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has started to build up nicely once again following the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 3rd March 2021 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 21-40-44-50-55 and the Powerball of 16 and thus the annuitised $125 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $138 million ( $96.6 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 6th March 2021.
It was a quiet night in Powerballville last night as in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw there were no first or second prize winners with the first payout coming at the third prize level where eleven ticket holders ( two with the Powerplay option selected on their Powerball entry ticket ) matched four main white balls and the red Powerball in the Powerball Draw.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was THREE.
There were 557,241 prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw with $4,367,783 being paid out in prize money.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows substantially after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the ever growing jackpot !
