News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $580.8 million ( $417.8 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has started to build up nicely once again to an amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 29th September 2021 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 02-07-11-17-32 and the Powerball of 11 and thus the annuitised $580.8 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $620 million ( $446 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 2nd October 2021.
There were no first prize ticket holders in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however eight ticket holders ,one from California , one from Florida , one from Indiana , one from Michigan, one from New York , one from Ohio , one from Oklahoma and one from Wisconsin did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Florida ,Indiana ,New York and Wisconsin took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holders from Michigan , Ohio and Oklahoma taking home $2 million each in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.( Powerplay multiplier is set to a maximum of 2 at this prize payout level).
The second prize ticket holder from California took home $1,361,359 in prize money.
There were 1,614,353 winners in Wednesday night’s US Powerball Draw with a total of $28,360,598 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was THREE.
