News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $715.3 million ( $343.1 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Lottery Jackpot has now started to build up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 26th October 2022 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 19-36-37-46-56 and the Powerball of 24 and thus the annuitised $715.3 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $800 million ( $383.7 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 29th October 2022.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however six ticket holders , two from California , one from Connecticut , one from Illinois , one from Michigan and one from New York did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from California took home $1,556,855 each in prize money with the second prize ticket holders from Connecticut , Illinois , Michigan and New York taking home $1 million each in prize money.
There were 2,191,190 winners in Wednesday night’s US Powerball Draw with a total of $21,127,988 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
