News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $313.7 million ( $176 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has now started to build up nicely to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 22nd June 2022 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 06-10-31-48-56 and the Powerball of 12 and thus the annuitised $313.7 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $335 million ( $188 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 25th June 2022.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however three lucky ticket holders , one from Florida , one from Pennsylvania and one from Wyoming did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Pennsylvania and Wyoming took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Florida taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.( Powerplay multiplier capped at 2 at this level of prize payout)
There were 583,591 winners in Wednesday night’s US Powerball Draw with a total of $9,147,512 being paid out in prize money.
