News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $562.1 million ( $342.4 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has started to build up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 20th March 2019 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 10-14-50-53-63 and the Powerball of 21 and thus the annuitised $562.1 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $625 million ( $380.6 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 23rd March 2019.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw but six lucky ticket holders , one from Florida , one from Kentucky , one from New Jersey and three from South Carolina won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Florida , Kentucky ,New Jersey and one ticket holder from South Carolina took home $1 million each in prize money with two of the the second prize ticket holders from South Carolina winning $2 million each in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.(Powerplay mutliplier is always two at this level of prize money thus 2 x$1 million= $2 million)
