News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $372.8 million ( $224.5 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has started to build up once again following the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 20th April 2022 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 20-30-45-55-56 and the Powerball of 14 and thus the annuitised $372.8 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $400 million ( $240.8 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 23rd April 2022.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Dra whowever one lucky ticket holder from New Jersey did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw and took home a not too shabby $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
There were 708,386 winners in Wednesday night’s US Powerball Draw with a total of $6,880,468 being paid out in prize money.
