News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $515.5 million ( $260.1 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Lottery Jackpot has now started to build up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 19th October 2022 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 06-08-15-27-42 and the Powerball of 10 and thus the annuitised $515.5 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $550 million ( $277.5 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 22nd October 2022.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however three ticket holders , one from Michigan and two from New Jersey did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holder from Michigan and one of the second prize ticket holders from New Jersey took home $1 million each in prize money wth the other second prize ticket holder from New Jersey taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.

There were 965,385 winners in Wednesday night’s US Powerball Draw with a total of $12,326,861 being paid out in prize money.
