News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $250 million ( $156.3 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has started to build up again to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 15th May 2019 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 07-17-33-61-68 and the Powerball of 04 and thus the annuitised $250 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $270 million ( $168.9 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 18th May 2019.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw but two lucky ticket holders , one from Florida and one from the Iowa won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holder from Florida won $1 million in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Iowa taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket. ( Powerplay multiplier is always TWO at this prize level )
