News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $335 million ( $243 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has now started to build up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 15th December 2021 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 19-20-40-42-59 and the Powerball of 15 and thus the annuitised $335 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $353 million ( $256 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 11th December 2021.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however one ticket holder from Maryland did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw and took home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket. ( Powerplay multiplier capped at 2 at this level of prize payout).
There were 663,522 winners in Wednesday night’s US Powerball Draw with a total of $6,705,712 being paid out in prize money.
