News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $489.6 million ( $366.2 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has now grown to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!
In the draw last night , Saturday 9th January 2021 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 14-26-38-45-46 and the Powerball of 13 and thus the annuitised $489.6 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $550 million ( $411.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 13th January 2021.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however two lucky ticket holders , one from Florida and one from Pennsylvania did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw and took home a not too shabby $1 million each in prize money.
There were 2,557,422 winners in Saturday night’s US Powerball Draw with a total of $19,777,855 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
