News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $320.6 million ( $168 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has now started to build up nicely again following the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 7th January 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 35-36-44-45-67 and the Powerball of 14 and thus the annuitised $320.6 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $340 million ( $178.2 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Monday 9th January 2023.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however three ticket holders , one from Missouri , one from New York and one from Ohio did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holder from New York took home $1 million in prize money with the second prize ticket holders from Missouri and Ohio taking home $2 million each in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket. ( Powerplay multiplier capped at 2 at this level of prize payout)
There were 1,006,364 winners in Saturday night’s US Powerball Draw with a total of $13,617,481 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was THREE.
