News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s annuitised Powerball Jackpot of $87.8 million ( $47.2 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has now started to build up once again following the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 6th May 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 31-39-47-51-53 and the Powerball of 06 and thus the annuitised $87.8 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $97 million ( $52.2 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Monday 8th May 2023.
It was a quiet night in Powerballville last night as in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw there were no first or second prize winners with the first payout coming at the third prize level where two ticket holders ( one with the Powerplay option selected on their Powerball entry ticket) matched four main white balls and the red Powerball in the Powerball Draw.
There were 492,026 prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw with $2,877,025 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows substantially after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the ever growing jackpot !
