News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $43.4 million ( $34.7 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has started to build up again following the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 3rd October 2020 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 18-31-36-43-47 and the Powerball of 20 and thus the annuitised $43.4 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $52 million ( $41.6 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 7th October 2020.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however two ticket holders , both from Ohio did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the draw.
One of the second prize winners from Ohio took home $1 million in prize money with the other second prize winner taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
There were 427,020 winners in Saturday night’s US Powerball Draw with a total of $5,734,071 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
