News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $495 million ( $300.2 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has now started to build up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Saturday 16th March 2019 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 30-34-39-53-67 and the Powerball of 11 and thus the annuitised $495 million jackpot was not won .
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw but three lucky ticket holders , one from New Jersey , one from North Dakota and one from Pennsylvania won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw .
The seond prize ticket holders from New Jersey and Pennsylvania won $1 million each with the second prize ticket holder from North Dakota winning $2 million as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will increase to an estimated $550 million ( $335 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 20th March 2019.
