News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $96 million ( $58.8 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has now started to build up again after the recent Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 12th January 2019 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 07-36-48-57-58 and the Powerball of 24 and thus the annuitised $96 million jackpot was not won .
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw but three lucky ticket holders , one from Michigan , one from North Dakota and one from Oklahoma won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.
The second prize ticket holders from North Dakota and Oklahoma took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Michigan taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will increase to an estimated $112 million ( $68 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 16th January 2019.
