News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $473.2 million ( $342.9 million in cash ) was not won and therefore the Powerball Jackpot has now started to build up nicely again to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention !.
In the draw last night , Monday 20th September 2021 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 37-51-54-58-60 and the Powerball of 19 and thus the annuitised $473.2 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $490 million ( $355.1 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 22nd September 2021.
There were no first prize winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw however two ticket holders , one from California and one from Oklahoma did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holder from California took home $485,500 in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Oklahoma taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
There were 600,437 winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw with $7,013,027 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Monday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
