News reaches the Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot was not won last night and thus the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot has now started to build up again following the recent Megamillions Jackpot win.
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Tuesday 24th September 2024 were 01-06-10-23-27 with the number of the Megaball being 18. In Tuesday night’s draw no ticket holders matched the five main numbers and Megaball thus the annuitised $62 million ( $30.8 million in cash ) jackpot was not won.
The Megamillions Jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $77 million ( $38.2 million in cash) in the next Megamillions Draw which will be drawn on Friday 27th September 2024.
There were no first prize winners in Tuesday night’s Megamillions Draw however eight ticket holders , one from Louisiana , one from Michigan , one from Missouri , one from New York , one from Pennsylvania , one from Tennessee and two from Virginia did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Megamillions Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Louisiana , Missouri ,New York , Pennsylvania , Tennessee and Virginia took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Michigan taking home $5 million in prize money as they had selected the Megaplier option on their Megamillions entry ticket.
The Megaplier multiplier in Tuesday night’s Megamillions Draw was FIVE.
Although the Megamillions Jackpot has recently been won the Lotto Central team still recommend keeping a close eye on the Megamillions draw as past performance indicates that this jackpot grows rapidly after a few rollover draws .
