News reaches the Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot was won last night as one lucky ticket holder from Minnesota matched the five main white balls and the gold Megaball in the Megamillions Draw and scooped the annuitised $106 million Megamillions Lottery Jackpot !!
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Tuesday 12th April 2022 were 02-08-14-20-31 with the number of the Megaball being 17. In Tuesday night’s draw one ticket holder matched the five main numbers and Megaball thus the $106 million ( $64.5 million in cash ) jackpot was won !.
The Megamillions Jackpot will therefore start off again at an estimated $20 million ( $12.1 million in cash) in the next Megamillions Draw which will be drawn on Friday 15th April 2022.
There was one first prize winner in Tuesday night’s Megamillions Draw however four ticket holders , one from Florida , one from Maryland and two from New Jersey also won a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Megamillions Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Florida and Maryland took home $1 million in prize money , one of the second prize ticket holders from New Jersey took home $1 million in prize money with the other second prize winner from New Jersey taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Megaplier multiplier on their Megamillions entry ticket.
The Megaplier multiplier in Tuesday night’s Megamillions Draw was TWO.
Although the Megamillions Jackpot has now been won the Lotto Central team still recommend keeping a close eye on the Megamillions draw as past performance indicates that this jackpot grows rapidly after a few rollover draws .
