News reaches the Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot was finally won last night as one lucky ticket holder from Texas matched the five main white balls and the gold Megaball in the Megamillions Drawing and scooped the annuitised $800 million Megamillions Jackpot !!
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Tuesday 10th September 2024 were 01-02-16-24-66 with the number of the Megaball being 06. In Tuesday night’s draw one ticket holder matched the five main numbers and Megaball thus the annuitised $800 million ( $404.2 million in cash ) jackpot was won.
The Megamillions Jackpot will therefore start off again at an estimated $20 million ( $10.1 million in cash) in the next Megamillions Draw which will be drawn on Friday 13th September 2024.
There was one first prize winner in Tuesday night’s Megamillions Draw however four ticket holders , one from from California , one from Florida , one from New York and one from Washington also win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Megamillions Draw.
The second prize ticket holder from California took home $605,656 in prize money with the second prize ticket holders from Florida, New York and Washington taking home $1 million each in prize money.
The Megaplier multiplier in Tuesday night’s Megamillions Draw was FOUR.
Although the Megamillions Jackpot has recently been won the Lotto Central team still recommend keeping a close eye on the Megamillions draw as past performance indicates that this jackpot grows rapidly after a few rollover draws .
