News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot was not won last night and thus the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot has now started to build up nicely again to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention !.
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Friday 6th September 2024 were 06-23-41-59-63 with the number of the Megaball being 25. In Friday night’s draw no ticket holders matched the five main numbers and Megaball and thus the annuitised $740 million ( $371.6 million in cash ) jackpot was not won.
The Megamillions Jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $800 million ( $401.8 million in cash) in the next Megamillions Drawing which will be drawn on Tuesday 10th September 2024.
There were no first prize winners in Friday night’s Megamillions Draw however six ticket holders , one from California , one from Florida , one from Illinois , one from New Hampshire ,one from Ohio and one from Texas did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Megamillions Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Florida, Illinois , New Hampshire and Texas took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Ohio taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Megaplier option on their Megamillions entry ticket.
The second prize ticket holder from California took home $2,233,779 in prize money.
The Megaplier multiplier in last night’s Megamillions Draw was TWO.
Although the Megamillions Jackpot has recently been won the Lotto Central team still recommend keeping a close eye on the Megamillions drawing as past performance indicates that this jackpot grows rapidly after a few rollover draws .
