News reaches the Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot was not won last night and thus the Megamillions Jackpot has now started to build up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Tuesday 5th January 2021 were 20-43-51-55-57 with the number of the Megaball being 04. In Tuesday night’s draw no ticket holders matched the five main numbers and Megaball thus the $447 million ( $339.6 million in cash ) jackpot was not won .
The Megamillions Jackpot will therefore increase to an an estimated $490 million ( $372.3 million in cash) in the next Megamillions Draw which will be drawn on Friday 8th January 2021.
There were no first prize winners in Tuesday night’s Megamillions Draw however four lucky ticket holders , one from California , one from Minnesota , one from New Jersey and one from New York did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Megamillions Draw.
The second prize ticket holder from California took home $2,390,663 in prize money , the second prize ticket holders from Minnesota and New Jersey took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from New York taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Megaplier option on their Megamillions entry ticket.
The Megaplier multiplier in Tuesday night’s Megamillions Draw was TWO.
