News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot was won last night as one lucky ticket holder from Texas matched the five main white balls and the gold Megaball and scooped the annuitised $227 million jackpot!!
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Tuesday 24th September 2019 were 06-14-24-42-46 with the number of the Megaball being 09. In Tuesday night’s draw one lucky ticket holder matched the five main numbers and Megaball thus the $227 million ( $156.5 million in cash ) jackpot was won .
The Megamillions Jackpot will therefore start off again an estimated $40 million ( $27.9 million in cash) in the next Megamillions Draw which will be drawn on Friday 27th September 2019.
There was one first prize winner in Tuesday night’s Megamillions Draw but also one lucky ticket holder from Florida won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Megamillions Draw and took home a not too shabby $4 million in prize money as they had selected the Megaplier option on their Megamillions entry ticket. ( 4 x $1 million = $4 million )
