News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $110 million was not won and once again the Powerball jackpot begins to rollover again to a significant three figure amount after the recent jackpot win .
In the draw last night , Saturday 29th August 2015 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 18-21-25-28-29 and the Powerball of 16 and thus the $110 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize but six lucky ticket holders won the second prize by matching the five main balls .
The second prize winners came from California , Florida , Georgia , Puerto Rico and Texas ( x 2).
The second prize winner from California won $1,219,176 , the second prize winners from Florida, Georgia and Texas won $1 million each and finally the lucky second prize winner from Puerto Rico scooped a $2 million prize as they had selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket ! ( Powerplay is always 2 at this prize level thus 2 x $1 million ).
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rollover to an estimated $120 million ( $76.6 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 2nd September 2015.
