With the news from across the pond focusing mainly on the ever increasing Megamillions jackpot it would be easy to ignore the other great Lottery Draw , the Powerball . However , as our blog readers from the States inform us this would be foolish as once again the Powerball jackpot is beginning to grow to a very health sum of money.
In the last Powerball Draw on Wednesday 10th December 2014 no ticket holders matched the five main numbers of 34-44-48-54-55 and the Powerball of 10 and thus Wednesday night’s Powerball jackpot of $60million was not won .
One ticket holder did win the second prize on Wednesday night by matching the five main balls – the winning ticket holder came from Maryland.
The winning ticket holder from Maryland won $2 million – a $1 million prize that doubled due to the ticket holder using the Powerplay option which was 2 on Wednesday night ( Powerplay is always 2 at this level of prize ).
So with Saturday night’s jackpot estimated at $70 million ( $44.1 million in cash) the Lotto Central team think that the Powerball draw certainly warrants serious consideration .
With a growing jackpot up for grabs the perplexing question for the Lotto Central team is whether to play the Powerball game on a single ticket or as part of a Lottery Syndicate. There is of course any easy answer to this perplexing question – do both !
So we are therefore off to our favourite international Lottery ticket provider , the Lotter to get on Saturday night’s Powerball draw with a single ticket – click here if you would like to do likewise !
For our syndicate entry we will head over to PlayLottery who offer chances to partake in Lottery Syndicates in major lotteries all over the world – click here if you would like to join us !
Good Luck everyone !
