Blog readers will be aware after last week’s blog post that the Powerball game has now been drawn for the past few weeks and no punters have matched the five main numbers plus Powerball and therefore the Powerball jackpot is increasing draw by draw then it probably warrants some attention and due diligence.
So after discovering that no ticket holders matched the winning numbers of 22-23-30-37-39 with the PowerBall of 16 in last night’s draw we were intrigued to see how much the estimated jackpot would be this coming Wednesday – 24th September. The answer , an estimated $225 million ( $134.1 million in cash )- looks like this is surely worth a punt now that the numbers are getting serious !
In Saturday night’s draw two ticket holders , one from Georgia and one from New York matched the five main numbers but did not match the PowerBall but still won a not too shabby $1 million – so it looks like punters are getting close to winning the jackpot .
With such a large jackpot up for grabs the perplexing question for the Lotto Central team is whether to play the Powerball game on a single ticket or as part of a Lottery Syndicate. There is of course any easy answer to this perplexing question – do both !
