News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $60 million was not won and once again the Powerball jackpot has started from a relatively low base to show some serious potential and warrant Lottery enthusiasts attention !
In the draw last night , Wednesday 6th May 2015 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 23-24-27-39-41 and the Powerball of 30 thus the jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize but three lucky ticket holders won the second prize by matching the five main balls .
The second prize winners came from California , Connecticut and Maine . The lucky winning ticket holder from California won $457,073 with the second prize winner from Connecticut scooping $1 million and the lucky second prize winner from Maine scooping $2 million as they had selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket. ( Powerplay at this level is always 2 thus 2 x $1million = $2 million ).
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rollover to an estimated $90 million ( $58.6 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 9th May 2015.
With the jackpot reaching the $90 million mark it may well be worth considering both single line and Powerball Lottery Syndicate entries – the Lotto Central team will certainly do both !
The Lotto Central team recommend a visit to the Lotter to play the Powerball game online either as a single line entry or as part of a Powerball Lottery Syndicate.
We wish all our blog readers a great week in their Lottery playing endeavours !
