News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that once again the Powerball Jackpot was not won last night and thus will rollover to a seriously interesting estimated $230 million in the next Powerball Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 24th January 2015.
In the Powerball Draw on Wednesday 21st January 2015 no ticket holders matched the five main numbers of 11-12-15-28-57 and the Powerball of 23 and thus Wednesday night’s Powerball jackpot of $208 million was not won .
Four lucky ticket holders did win the second prize on Wednesday night by matching the five main balls so clearly Lottery enthusiasts are getting closer to the jackpot !
The second prize winning ticket holders came from Connecticut , Illinois , New York and Ohio .
The lucky winning second prize ticket holders from Illinois and Ohio selected the Powerplay option thus doubling their $1 million prize to $2 million as the Powerplay is always 2 at this level of prize money ( actual Powerplay was 4 ).
The winning second prize ticket holders from Connecticut and New York won a not too shabby $1 million each.
So with Saturday night’s jackpot estimated at $230 million ( $157.8million in cash) the Lotto Central team think that the Powerball draw certainly warrants serious consideration .
