With the news that after a succession of rollovers since August 22nd that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot had finally been won last night it would be easy to assume that all was now fairly quiet in ” Lottery Land”. However , hidden in plain sight whilst the Megamillions jackpot was climbing to a staggering $321 million is the Powerball Lottery which tonight offers a not too shabby $178 million estimated jackpot .
In the last Powerball Draw on Saturday 1st November 2014 no ticket holders matched the five main numbers of 01-03-13-25-38 and the Powerball of 17 and thus Saturday night’s Powerball jackpot of $159 million was not won .
Four ticket holders did win the second prize on Saturday night by matching the five main balls – the winning ticket holders came from California , Florida , Illinois and Minnesota.
The winner from California won $360,931 with the winners from Florida, Illinois and Minnesota winning $1 million each.
So with Wednesday night’s jackpot estimated at $178 million ( $111.1 million in cash) the Lotto Central team think that the Powerball draw certainly warrants serious consideration .
With such a large jackpot up for grabs the perplexing question for the Lotto Central team is whether to play the Powerball game on a single ticket or as part of a Lottery Syndicate. There is of course any easy answer to this perplexing question – do both !
So we are therefore off to our favourite international Lottery ticket provider , the Lotter to get on Wednesday night’s Powerball draw with a single ticket – click here if you would like to do likewise !
