News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $235 million was not won and once again the Powerball jackpot begins to rollover again to a significant three figure jackpot amount.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 23rd September 2015 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 08-29-41-51-58 and the Powerball of 05 thus the jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize but five lucky ticket holders won the second prize by matching the five main balls .
The second prize winners came from California, Colorado,Idaho , New Jersey and Wisconsin . The ticket holders from Idaho, New Jersey and Wisconsin scooped $1 million each for matching the five main balls in last night’s draw. The ticket holder from Colorado won $2 million as they had selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket – the Powerplay is always 2 at this level of prize money thus 2 x $ 1 million = $2 million prize.
The second prize ticket holder from California won $671,089.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rollover to an estimated $267 million ( $169 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 26th September 2015.
With the Powerball jackpot on Saturday night reaching the $267 million mark it may well be worth considering both single line and Powerball Lottery Syndicate entries – the Lotto Central team will certainly do both !
The Lotto Central team recommend a visit to the Lotter to play the Powerball game online either as a single line entry or as part of a Powerball Lottery Syndicate.
We wish all our blog readers a great week in their Lottery playing endeavours !
