With the news from across the pond focusing mainly on the ever increasing Megamillions jackpot ( not won last night – estimated at $206 million on Tuesday night !) it would be easy to ignore the other great Lottery Draw , the Powerball . However , as our blog readers from the States inform us this would be foolish as once again the Powerball jackpot is beginning to grow to a very health sum of money.
In the last Powerball Draw on Wednesday 31st December 2014 no ticket holders matched the five main numbers of 17-27-37-40-53 and the Powerball of 35 and thus Wednesday night’s Powerball jackpot of $120 million was not won .
Five ticket holders did win the second prize on Wednesday night by matching the five main balls so Lottery enthusiasts are getting closer to the jackpot !
The second prize ticket holders on Wednesday night came from Florida ( x2) , Iowa , New York and Washington,D.C. and all won $1 million each in prize money.
So with Saturday night’s jackpot estimated at $131 million ( $84.3 million in cash) the Lotto Central team think that the Powerball draw certainly warrants serious consideration .
With a growing jackpot up for grabs the perplexing question for the Lotto Central team is whether to play the Powerball game on a single ticket or as part of a Lottery Syndicate. There is of course any easy answer to this perplexing question – do both !
So we are therefore off to our favourite international Lottery ticket provider , the Lotter to get on Saturday night’s Powerball draw with a single ticket – click here if you would like to do likewise !
For our syndicate entry we will head over to PlayLottery who offer chances to partake in Lottery Syndicates in major lotteries all over the world – click here if you would like to join us !
Good Luck everyone !
