In the season of goodwill and merriment will this be the merry Megamillions moment ?
After having received some recent updates from some of our blog readers from across the pond it looks like the Megamillions draw on Friday 26th December ( to those of us in the UK , Boxing Day ) is worth serious consideration.
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Tuesday 23rd December were 04-10-31-56-66 with the number of the Megaball being 07. In Tuesday night’s draw no ticket holders matched the five main numbers and Megaball and thus the $142 million jackpot was not won . This means that the Megamillions jackpot will rollover once again and as a result Friday night’s Megamillions jackpot is estimated at $156 million ($99 million in cash ).
In Tuesday night’s draw there were no ticket holders matching the five main balls and Megaball however one ticket holder did win the second prize by matching the five main balls. The lucky ticket holder came from New Jersey and scooped $1 million in prize money thus ensuring that they certainly had a great Christmas !.
With such a large jackpot up for grabs the perplexing question for the Lotto Central team is whether to play the Megamillions game on a single ticket or as part of a Lottery Syndicate. There is of course any easy answer to this perplexing question – do both !
