News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot was won last night with a single lucky ticket holder from New York scooping the $165 million ( $100.3 million in cash ) Megamillions Jackpot !
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Friday 8th January were 11-39-51-57-75 with the number of the Megaball being 02. In Friday night’s draw one ticket holder matched the five main numbers and Megaball thus the $165 million jackpot was won .
The Megamillions Jackpot will start up again at an estimated $15 million ( $9.2 million in cash) in the next Megamillions Draw which will be drawn on Tuesday 12th January 2016.
It was a good night in Megamillionsville last night as one lucky ticket holder from New York won first prize in the Megamillions draw and two ticket holders , one from Maryland and one from Texas matched the five main balls and scooped a second prize of a not too shabby $1 million each.
Now that the Megamillions Jackpot is starting to build again from scratch let’s keep an eye on what soon becomes a rapidly growing jackpot .
