News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot was not won last night as the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot begins to build up again to a significant three figure amount.
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Tuesday 5th July 2016 were 29-46-53-64-73 with the number of the Megaball being 10. In Tuesday night’s draw no ticket holders matched the five main numbers and Megaball thus the $454 million jackpot was not won .
The Megamillions Jackpot will rollover to an estimated $508 million ( $357.7 million in cash) in the next Megamillions Draw which will be drawn on Friday 8th July 2016.
There were no first prize winners in Tuesday night’s Megamillions draw but seven lucky ticket holders , one from California , one from Florida , one from New Jersey , one from Ohio , one from Oklahoma , one from Pennsylvania and one from Texas won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Megamillions draw.
The lucky second prize ticket holder from California won $2,333,142 with the second prize ticket holders from Florida , New Jersey , Ohio , Oklahoma ,Pennsylvania and Texas winning $1 million each.
Now that the Megamillions Jackpot increased to a significant amount ( circa $508 million) and with seven second prize ticket holders in the latest draw it looks like that Megajackpot will soon be won ( LottoCentral team in “Optimism” mode !) . It may be worth considering both single line and Megamillions syndicate entries , the Lotto Central team will certainly do both , meanwhile we are off to the Lotter to get on for Friday night’s draw !
