The estimated $195 million jackpot occurs because in the last MegaMillions draw on Friday night no ticket holders matched the five main numbers and the Megaball.
Two lucky ticket holders from Pennsylvania and Virginia did match the five main numbers but did not have the Megaball – both ticket holders won $1 million , a nice consolation prize !
The winning numbers from Friday night’s MegaMillions draw were – 23-29-32-45-46 , the Megaball was 15.
The record MegaMillions jackpot is $656 million set on 30th March 2012 , Tuesday’s estimated jackpot is still well short of the record but surely worth consideration.
